Here is the Full Tilt Boogie Racing S550 Mustang shifter reinforcement bracket.
Like every other FTBR part these are 100% USA made. The bracket can easily be installed without the removal of the exhaust or driveshaft. Before the bracket we were encountering 4 to 5 and 5 to 4 lockout at high RPM on track. With the bracket, it is a world of difference! Your stock shifter is a LOT better than you might think it is. It’s the soft OEM mounting of the shifter that is the problem. Not the shifter itself. After the installation of the shifter bracket, the shifter feels much more solid with minimal slop. Shifting will be a lot smoother at any RPM or load. Here is a short video that demonstrates the shifter wobble before and after the bracket has been installed. S-197 13" Rear Brake Conversion

Our S-917 13" rear brake conversion kit, part number FT 9600 was developed to replace the inadequate and undersized rear brakes of S-197 cars (Mustangs 2005-2014) equipped with Brembo 14" front brakes. If you are doing track days with your car, please be aware that your car has the same 11.8" rear brakes that came on a V-6 automatic Mustang. Even if you are not doing track days you will appreciate the additional stopping power this kit will provide for you and your vehicle. This kit was originally developed on a 2007 Shelby GT 500 that came with those same undersized rear brakes. A vehicle's front brakes should be doing about 70-80% of the braking. These 14" Brembo equipped cars are doing about 85-90% of the braking with the front brakes. That is not a good balance. This kit relocates the OEM rear caliper to accommodate a larger 13" diameter rotor and increases the rear braking leverage significantly. There is no need to change the rear brake lines and you retain your emergency brake as well because the calipers are not being changed, only relocated. Unlike some other 13" rear brake conversion kits on the market, this kit is a direct bolt on with no need to disassemble the differential and pull the axles. The increased braking leverage in the rear will settle your car much better in hard braking situations. Because your OEM rear brakes are so undersized, there is no need for a brake bias adjuster after the installation of this kit. As a bonus, our 2 pc 13" floating rotors weigh 11.53# each compared to the 13# OEM 11.8" rotors. This saves almost 3# of unsprung weight and rotating mass. This kit puts your front and rear brake bias at a much more desirable and balanced level like it should have come from Ford. |

Because these parts are so much easier to work with and we've always been a very customer oriented company, we are going to offer a trade-in exchange for all of our previous customers that have purchased these. For the guys that have NOT installed their kit yet, go into your kit and remove all of the parts in the front diff mount set with the exception of the 12 shimming washers. You keep them. Send us the two thick and two thin angled bushings and four angled washers. Once we receive your returned parts and verify you purchased the parts from us, we will ship you the new bushings and seats along with some new front diff mount installation instructions AT "NO" CHARGE!!! :-D For the guys that have already installed these parts in their cars you probably discovered this alignment process was a little more work than it should have been. You're probably not looking forward to having to do it again if you ever have to take your car apart. We're going to do something for you as well. You can purchase just the eight required parts, four new bushings and four matching washers (you won't receive any shimming washers) for $40.00 + $5.00 freight. Keep them until you go back into your differential again. Once you remove and return the eight angled parts (four bushings and four washers) you will receive a $40 refund.
